Three original negatives, of the wedding of the only daughter of the rebbe, author of Minchat Eliezer in Munkatch, March 15, 1933. In the photographs, the Minchat Eliezer is seen arriving with the bridegroom in an open royal carriage. A photograph of the square where the royal chupah took place in its glory and a close-up photograph of the chupah. (To our knowledge, these photographs are unknown today).
The bridegroom is Rabbi Baruch Yehoshua Yerachmiel Rabinowitz (1915-1998) son of Rebbi Nathan David of Pertziva (Poland) descendant of the Biala Rebbes. This wedding was documented in the newspapers as the largest Jewish wedding of those times. The borders were opened, and special train lines transported Jews from throughout Hungary to Munkatch.
