Collection of drawings by Miron Sima and family letters. [Eretz Israel and Germany, 1920s through 1940s].
• About 65 letters of the Sima family, including letters by Miron Sima to his father and mother (Binyamin and Bayle) and to other family members (numerous letters were sent from Dresden where he lived between the years 1923-1933), letters to and from other family members (Julia Sima, Bunem Sima) and letters sent to Sima by other family members and friends. Most of the letters are in German, Russian and Yiddish. The collection also includes several personal documents, among them a certificate in the name of his father testifying that he was registered according to the Law of Immigration (1923) in Eretz Israel. • Three notebooks (27X21 cm) with drawings (mostly in pencil) by Miron Sima. The notebooks contain about 90 leaves with drawings [1940s]. The collection also includes several envelopes and pieces of paper with drawings and illustrations by Sima. Size and condition varies.
