Collection of essays, articles-drafts, manuscripts, letters and drafts of letters, newspapers and newspaper-cuttings. Jerusalem, Vienna and Lvov, 1920's-30's.
Meir Hartiner (1880-1972) – writer, translator and editor. Moved to Eretz Israel in 1938. Wrote in Hebrew and Yiddish papers and edited the paper "HaOlam".
The collection includes: complete manuscripts about the Song of Songs, the concept of god; a Hanukah play for children; manuscript of the story "HaChoref" from 1892, in Hebrew, German and Russian; essays about the "Supremacy of Judaism"; memorandum to the directors of the Jewish Agency, with signatures and handwritten recommendations, by Prof. Joseph Klausner, Gershom Shofman, Asher Barash, Uri Zvi Greenberg, David Shimony, Dov Sadan, Ya'akov Cohen and other writers and intellectuals (two copies, both signed), and other interesting documents.
