Medal, presented by the State of Israel and the Israel Defense Forces to the French soldiers who fought in the Kadesh Operation (Sinai War), May 6th, 1957. Silver-plated bronze.
On front of medal an IDF emblem placed between the flags of Israel and France. Verso of the medal bears an embossed dedication in French "With deep-felt gratitude for your invaluable assistance" and signed by Ben Gurion.
Extremely rare medal, probably only tens copies imprinted, for the few French soldiers participated in Kadesh Operation.
Diameter: 8 cm. Very good condition.
