Parts 1-4 in three volumes, each volume has a dedication on the page before the title page, handwritten and signed by the author.
Rabbi Chaim Hirshensohn (1857-1935, Otzar HaRabbanim 5961), was a great Rabbi and an educated author, a renowned religious Zionist philosopher. He was born in Safed and immigrated with his family to Jerusalem where he established the Hirshensohn Printing Press. He was one of the founders of Beit Midrash Abarbanel which eventually became the National Library. He participated in the First Zionist Congress, immigrated to the US and served as rabbi in Hoboken, New Jersey. He authored dozens of books, most deal with the halachic aspect of the establishment of a Jewish state.
