Manuscript remnants removed from "Binding Geniza" – Magen Avot, commentary on Tractate Avot by Rabbi Shimon ben Tzemach Duran (the Rashbetz). [Semi-cursive Sephardic writing, 14th / 15th century].
With the text of the Mishna in square letters. Approximately 20 leaves (8 pairs and another 4 single leaves), written on both sides. A sample examination showed variations from the printed version.
Leaves 1-2: From Chapter 2 on Mishnayot 7-8. 3: on 11. 4-9; on 13-17. 10-17; on 18-21. 18-20: on 3, 1-3, 3.
