Year-round machzor, "Pihm, Polish and German tradition", with the Ma'aglei Tzedek commentary. Amsterdam, 1670.
Two parts in one volume, a separate title page for each part.
Large-format machzor intended for the cantor's use. Elaborate copperplate engraving on the title page of Part 1. Decorated initials and small woodcut vignettes inside the machzor. Ownership inscriptions in several places: "Moshe Isser son of R. Z.Y. Posner of Końskowola".
Part 1: Prayers for Shabbat, the High-Holidays, Succot, Shemini Atzeret and Simchat Torah. [6]; 5, [2], 7-35, 31-42, 49-99, [1], 104-128, [13], 142-148, 151-178 leaves. Part 2: Arba Parshiot, Purim, Pesach, Shavuot. [179]-225, 227-230, [1], 233-266, 268-279, 281-292, [3], 294-320, [1] leaves. 38 cm. Overall good-fair condition, several leaves in fair condition. Stains. Tears. Coarse tears to first title page and to several more leaves, some open tears and others affecting text. Ancient worn leather binding, with damages.
