Maamar Mordechai, kabbalistic and Chassidic essays on the Torah portions and the festivals; and various selections, by R. Mordechai Letner. Lviv, 1877. First edition.
The author was a leading disciple of the Sar Beit HaZohar, Rebbe Tzvi Hirsh of Zidichov. A lengthy kabbalistic essay from his teacher on Tefillin was printed at the end of the book.
At the end of his preface, the author's son attests to the protective qualities of this book, describing how the copyist of the book was saved from a fire while holding the book.
