Twenty linoleum block plates portraying Jewish life in Munkacs and the vicinity, created by Morvay. Limited edition of one hundred copies only. Evžen Morvay (1902-1945) was a teacher, painter and graphic artist native of Slovakia. He studied art at the Art Academy in Jerusalem and in Prague and worked as an art teacher in secondary schools in Slovakia. In 1940, he was appointed director of a high school in Munkacs. During WW2 he was racially persecuted. Deported in 1944, he committed suicide in 1945.
