Likutei Moharan, Volumes 1-2. "Pure Essays of the Famous Chassid… Moreinu Rabbi Nachman of Breslav". (1809), [Lemberg, 1830-s?].
First: [1], 81 leaves; Second: [1], 29 leaves. 21 cm. Thick, high-quality paper, good condition, wear and stains, new binding.
Stefansky Chassidut no. 285. The year 1809 is written on the title page which is impossible since Rebbe Nachman of Breslav died in 1811 and on the title page after his name the initials z"l (of blessed memory) are written.
Regarding this edition, a difference of opinion exists as to whether it was printed in Lemberg or in Korets as well as its year of print. Rabbi Nathan Tzvi König (Neveh Tzadikim, B'nei Brak, 1969, page 41) writes that it was printed in Lemberg, c. 1830. Contradicting opinions: Rosenthal, Yode'ah Sefer and Tzedner write, Korets 1809.
