Among the letters: a letter from year 1943 by Rabbi Shalom son of Rabbi Yechiya Yitzhak Ha-Levi, Rabbi of the Jaffa-Tel-Aviv Yemenite community describing the situation of the Jews of Sana'a:"¦[The Jews] of Sana'a are literally starving [to death] and reading their letters would deeply trouble you. My heart bleeds as I hear of their dire predicament in particular and of the situation of the Sana'a Jews in general. May Hashem have mercy on them¦".
