1. 6 letters in fine handwriting, sent to Miryam and Matityahu in Petach Tikva, by Shlomo Levy, head of Eztel headquarters in internment camp in Gilgil, Kenya, 1945-1947. Letter of 1945 was sent from imprisonment camp in Sembel, near Asmara, capital of Eritrea. Letters concerning mainly personal matters.
2. Letters type-written, by Zeev, dated 3.5.1948. Sent probably to prisoners in Gilgil. Dealing with conquer of Manshiya (North Jaffa).
Shlomo Levy is Shlomo Lev-Ami, member of the first headquarters established by menachem begin and by chief of staff. In the beginning of 1945 was extradited to the british and exiled to Africa, where he participated in the big escape of 45 exiles from the Eritrea internment camp, was caught after three months and returned to detention. Lev-Ami returned to Israel with the last exiles from Kenya on July 12, 1948.
