A letter with instructions for the printer of the books Kehillot Ya'akov, in the handwriting of Rabbi Ya'akov Yisrael Kanievsky, the Steipler.
"Please don't print Siman 23… because I need to make corrections. Finish printing Siman 22 and afterward from Siman 24 consecutively". (Unsigned).
The Rabbi of Hornistopol (the Steipler), used to toil throughout the nights writing his books, making correction after correction to elucidate issues for the benefit of yeshiva students. Even after he delivered his novella to print, he would sometimes make corrections on the early drafts, thinking that there was yet room for improvement. (Toldot Ya'akov, pg. 209).
