The well-known Ga’on Rabbi Yerucham Asher Warhaftig (1873-1965, Otzar HaRabbanim 11605), author of Divrei Yerucham, for additional information related to him see item 480. In the introduction of his book Divrei Yerucham he recounts his brief service in the rabbinate of Kazloshtzina which is in close proximity to Slonim, a position which Rabbi Zvi Aryeh Shachor took over.
