Rabbi Eliezer Yehuda Finkel (1879-1965, Otzar Ha-Rabanim 2660), son of Rabbi Nathan Zvi Finkel, the “Saba of Slabodka”, was the head of the Mir Yeshiva in Mir, and the founder of the Mir Yeshiva in Jerusalem, Israel. The letter is written in German, signed “L .J Finkel” and ink stamped.
