A printed letter, addressed to [Berl?] Katzenelson, concerning a gift for Zalman Schocken. Signed by hand by Martin Buber, S.Y. Agnon, Siegfried Moses and Shmuel Hugo Bergman. [Eretz Israel], 1937. Hebrew.
An invitation to participate in composing a special booklet which would be presented as a gift on Zalman Schocken’s 60th birthday: "…we turn to very few people, those with whom Schocken has a personal relationship - in life and at work, as well as to those that Mr. Schocken appreciates and respects. We ask you to take one sheet of the sheets sent to you herewith, and write some words on one page only…and try and aim them at the purpose: a matter that is personal or practical, a matter that refers to Mr. Schocken whether in poetry or prose, with a graphic drawing or with a brush and colors…" Printed letter, with a correction by hand of one word. Leaf, 21 cm. Good condition. Filing holes.
