Rebbe Menachem Mendel Schneersohn son of Rebbe Levi Yitzchak Schneersohn, Rabbi of Yekatrinoslav, sixth generation descendent of the Tzemach Tzedek. Already in his childhood his genius and leadership were evident. He married the daughter of the Rebbe HaRayatz (Yosef Yitzhak Schneersohn) and after his father-in-law's death in 1950, he led the worldwide Lubavitch Chassidut. He wrote dozens of books on many topics throughout the Torah. Last rebbe of Chabad.
