Three Laissez Passer documents given to a Jew, resident of Worms. Mannheim, Germany, 1794-1796. German.
Three Laissez Passer documents given to a Jew, resident of Worms (name does not appear on the documents), on behalf of the Duke of Churpfalz / Kurfalz, Germany. The documents, granted after payment of a tax, permit the Jew to move from place to place for commercial purposes or for private purposes. On the lower part appears a seal of the dukedom and the clerk in charge of collecting the tax. 19.5X15.5 cm. Good condition, stains.
