Kessef Mezukak, homiletic literature on the Torah. It is the second part of the book Kesssef Nivchar authored by Rabbeinu Yeshayahu Pinto – known as HaRif. Venice 1628. First edition.
Signatures of previous owners that appear include such names as HaGa'on Rabbi Avraham Chai of Musafia (Otzar 1056) great sage of both Turkey and Jerusalem. He was the son of Rabbi Chaim Yitzchak the Av Beit Din of Spoleto.
Another signature is that of Avraham Azriel of the sages if Jerusalem. He is the son of Rishon Le-Tzion Rabbi Aharon Azriel the author of Kappei Aharon.
231 [9] leaves. 28.5 cm. Fair to poor condition. Serious damage to the margins of the 1st few pages. Title page is in fair condition. Moth holes. Binding is worn.
