Kesef Nivchar, three volumes, rules of the Shas and the Poskim, Rabbi Baruch Bendet Gutwein. Lemberg, 1873-1878.
Captions and signatures by Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levinberg appear on all three title pages. He was a member of the Plock Jewish Community who lived in Shepps, close to Plock [Poland]. There are signatures and ink stamps from the time he served as Rabbi at Proshkow and Grodzhinsk close to Warsaw.
Dozens of handwritten scholarly glosses in the margins of the book sheets.
Rabbi Yitzchak Meir Levinberg (Passed in 1934, Otzar Ha-Rabbanim 11425), served as Rabbi in Proshkow since 1904, after WWI he moved and served as Rabbi in Grodzhisk. See enclosed material about him.
