Letters sent to the “Keren Ha-Tolada”, to support and promote increased birth rates among the Jewish populations living in Israel, directed by Dr. Avraham A. Shpruch-Pevzner, 1950’s-60’s.
The collection includes:
~ 8 letters in David Ben Gurion’s handwriting (one is two pages long) + envelope.
~ A letter handwritten by Shai Agnon, including an envelope bearing a handwritten inscription by Shai Agnon, and a printed “copy” leaf bearing the word “copy” in his handwriting.
~ Two letters from Moshe Sharet (one is printed, the other is handwritten) + One (printed) letter from Menachem Begin.
~ One letter from Rabbi Yitzchak Nissim + one support letter from the secretary of the Lubavitcher Rebbe - Rabbi Menachem Mendel Schneorson, which carries words of encouragement on behalf of the Rabbi.
~ Form letter on behalf of Dr. Spruch Pevzner, Keren Ha-Tolada Be-Israel + 20 newspaper clips on the matter.
