Postcard handwritten by the author and editor Joseph Haim Brenner, London, 1908.
"Dear Sir, I have not yet answered your letter…I received it while I could not write one single word, and my reply was postponed. Now that I am sending the Shoffman writings which I published to the "HaMeorer" journal subscribers, I remembered your letter and I am sending you a complete set of the second year. Unfortunately I do not have the first year…" The postcard is addressed to R' Dr. Mordechai Zeev (Marcus) Ehrenpreis, Hebrew writer, translator, publicist, editor, rabbi and Zionist activist. Ehrenpreis was at the time serving as Chief Rabbi of Bulgaria and the postcard was sent to his address in Sofia. 9X14 cm. Postcard. Good condition. Four torn filing-holes.
