Non-traditional Haggadah, stenciled, with illustrations. Printed on the reverse of bluish telegram forms of the Italian Governor in Libya.
From the Haggadah: "This night of the Holiday of Liberty, we sit together, soldiers of the Jewish Drivers Unit 178….news reached us about the Valley of Death in Europe…"(pp.3-4).
On p. 14 - illustration of Jewish Transportation Unit 178 Soldiers, sitting at the Seder table. On p. 22 an additional illustration of soldiers and an inscription "somewhere on the borders of the desert are Jewish soldiers" (from the song "On the Desert Borders"). For information about Transportation Unit 178, see enclosed material. [27] leaves. Some leaves were bound out of order; leaves 20-[25] are bound up-side down. 16X21.5 cm. Good condition. Tears at margins of leaves. Stains. No back cover (ending with "HaTikvah" and "LeShanah Haba'ah BeYerushalayim").
