The Blind, [1943]. A woodblock by Jacob Steinhardt (1887-1968). The sunken areas were colored.
A printed certificate (filled in by hand) signed by Steinhardt's widow, Minnie Steinhardt, confirming the authenticity of the woodblock, is attached to verso: "I hereby confirm that this woodblock, The Blind 1943… is an original woodblock by Jacob Steinhardt who personally printed original woodcuts from it". Dated 10/1/1969.
