Issue no. 3 of Lagergemeinschaft Mauthausen (association of former Mauthausen prisoners) – stories and testimonies of Mauthausen concentration camp survivors. Mauthausen, a large concentration camp in Austria, was established in 1938 near the town Mauthausen. The camp served until 1941 as a prison for opponents of Nazism. Number jewish prisoners at the time was relatively small. This changed in 1941, when large numbers of Jews, mainly from Czechoslovakia and Holland, were sent there.
