The headline reads "United States Recognition of the State of Israel" and the headline below announces "Arab armies invaded our country last night". The paper features various news concerning the war, an ad placed by Shemen factory thanking the fighting soldiers and an essay by Abba Hushi who calls to establish Haifa as the capital of Israel.
