Enclosed is a letter from Pinchas Shmueli (Pinye) in which he tells how he was arrested by the British in June 1946, when he visited his brother in Kibbutz Gvat, and taken to Atlit detention camp and later on to Rafiah. Some 45 days he was imprisoned in Rafiah and this work was created during his detention, for his girlfriend who lived in Tel-Aviv.
