Hanukkah Lamp produced by “Klein Kom” (predecessors of Pal-Bell). Tel Aviv, 1930s.
The back consists of an arch with embossed writing of the verse, “HaNerot HaLalu Kodesh Hem.” The base is a semi-circle with 8 arms in the shape of oil lamps, in the center of which is a raised platform for the Shamash, also shaped like an oil lamp.
Signed: “Klein Kom – Omanut – Tel Aviv” and “Made in Eretz Israel.” Similar Menorahs were later produced by the Pal-Bell Co., established by Maurice Ascalon (Klein) and Abraham Kom in 1939. Height: 14cm, width: 21.5cm. Good condition.
