Oil can with a drawing of Rachel's Tomb and a Hanukah Lamp made of an identical tin. Eretz Yisrael, 1930's.
1. Can for olive oil made by "Shemen", drawing of the Tomb of Rachel on both sides with a Hebrew and English inscription. Height: 33 cm.
2. Hanukah Lamp made of an oil can spread into a sheet, cut and bent, to which candle holders have been attached and a device for a shamash. An exact use of the original container resulted in showing in front Rachel's Tomb and the inscription"the oil jug will not lack oil". Height: 30.5 cm, width: 23 cm.
Fair condition, many stains, damages to borders of lamp, scratches and some omissions of paint.
