Metal Hanukah lamp, sawn and engraved. Eretz Yisrael, the 20th century.
Back-plate decorated with a large hand-palm (Hamsa) decorated with geometric and vegetal designs. The Hamsa is symmetrical, two end fingers point outwards, on both of them is a bird with a tuft on its head; a metal ring is connected to one bird's wing.
Three domed protrusions close to the Hamsa's base bear the writing "Ha'Nerut Ha'Lalu Kodesh". Eight round holes with no branches are found on the bottom. A hook for hanging is attached to the back part. A decorated stand in soldered to the bottom back side.
Height: 35 cm. Maximum width: 12.5 cm. Good condition.
