26 prints by Joseph Budko (mostly etchings) - illustrations of the Passover haggadah and decorative initials. Accompanied by a printed leaf with the etching titles and details regarding the portfolio. The colophon on this leaf states that the portfolio was printed in 15 copies (the number is crossed out in pencil, and written above it is the number "32"). The present copy is unnumbered (beneath the place where the copy number should appear, the word "Probe-druck" [?] [trial print] is written in pencil).
All the etchings are signed by Budko (some are signed in Hebrew as well). Most are titled in handwriting, in Hebrew. Some are marked "probedruck". One etching is dated - 1916.
[1] leaf + [26] plates. Prints in different sizes, on different-sized paper. Each print is placed in a passe-partout, 31.5 cm. No portfolio. Good-fair condition. Foxing to some of the prints. Stains (some dark) to the passe-partout plates. Tears to margins of one of the passe-partout plates.
