Twenty eight consecutive booklets with detective fictional stories, based on the image of David Tidhar (a police officer, private detective and editor of the "Encyclopedia of Yishuv Pioneers)."HaBalash" and its twenty eight booklets are considered the herald of detective fiction in Hebrew. Most of the stories were written by Ben-Israel, as well as by some others, amongst them: Uri Keisari, Haim Dov Halachmi, Nahum Snapiri, Aryeh Samsonov, and others. The booklets are in their original covers and bound in two vlumes 17.5 cm, with spines and leather corners. Good condition, several stains.
