1. 1938 Haggadah. "HaBacharut HaSotzialistit", Magdiel [present day Beit Oren], [1938]. Texts for Passover, based to some extent on the traditional Haggadah. At the end appear four leaves depicting the conquest of Eretz Israel by the Jewish people and the redemption of the bare land. "HaBacharut HaSocialistit" was the young chapter of "Mapai" (and of "Achdut HaAvodah" prior to "Mapai"). Founded in 1926 in order to secure a political reserve amongst young people of 17 to 23 years of age. One of the training Kibbutzim of the movement acted in the "Moshavah" Magdiel. [1], 7 leaves, 21X16.5 cm. Good condition. Stains on front and back cover, missing snippet on the lower part of front cover.
2. Passover Haggadah. "HaKibbutz HaMeuchad", "HaBacharut", Borochov neighborhood, 1938. Non-traditional Haggadah, with illustrations. A particularly interesting and varied version. At the end – a title page and two leaves of the 1939 Givat HaShlosha Haggadah have been bound. [29] leaves, 16X20.5 cm. Generally in good condition. Filing holes. Tears to cover. Stapled with new staples. This is, most probably, the first "Bacharut" Haggadah. Not listed in "Haggadot Kibbutziot" by Nathan Steiner.
