Gift of book for Purim, anthologies on Purim and Megillat Esther, Jerusalem, 1946. On recto and verso of title page are dedications in the handwriting of the Tzaddik of Ra'anana, the holy Torah genius Rabbi Yitzchak HaCohen Hoberman (1896-1977). Born in Poland, he studied under Rabbi Ya'akov Mordechai of Bilgoria, by the Shem M'Shmuel of Sochatchev, and by Rabbi Glickson (son-in-law of Rabbi Chaim of Brisk). Renowned for his diligence and brilliance. Was connected to Gur and Lubavitch Chassidism. After the Holocaust, served six years in the German rabbinate. Ascended to Ra'anana, Israel. Known as a lofty tzaddik and wonder-worker. Rabbi Shach wrote about him in approbation of his book Ben L'Oshri, "Well-known to be full of knowledge in the revealed and hidden Torah".
