First two books contain signatures of Rabbi Ovadia Hadaya, and last two books contain signatures of his father Rabbi Shalom Hadaya. [Binding leaves of one of books contain version of confession of the Chida, in Sephardic handwriting].
The Kabbalist Rabbi Shalom Hadaya [1862-1945, Otzar HaRabbanim 18135) was among the Torah scholars of Aleppo and chief Kabbalist in Jerusalem; from 1927 served as dean of the kabbalist Yeshiva in Beit Kel and from 1930 served as Av Beit Din of Jerusalem. His compositions include: Seh L'Beit Avot, Shalom L'Am and Dover Shalom.
His son, the Kabbalist Rabbi Ovadia Hadaya (1890-1969, Otzar HaRabbanim 16544). Among the directors of Yeshivat Porat Yosef. Served as chief rabbi and Av Beit Din of Petach Tikva. Member of the Beit Din HaGadol in Jerusalem. Founder of the Beit Kel Yeshiva for Kabbalists in the new city. Author of Yaskil Avdi Responsa - 8 sections, and additional books on the revealed and concealed facets of Torah.
