Four letters of recommendation to a young man of Toronto who made Aliyah to Eretz Israel to study in Yeshivat Mir in Jerusalem, and from there went to study in Lakewood Yeshivah in New Jersey.

Rabbi Eliyahu Chazan (1906-1982), a disciple of Rabbi Baruch Dov (Ber) Leibovitz, a prominent disciple in Mir Yeshivah in Shanghai, and later an outstanding teacher in America, head of yeshivat "Torah Va'da'at".
Rabbi Nachum Persovitz (1923-1987), a leading teacher in his generation. Disciple of Rabbi Elchanan Wasserman and Rabbi Baruch Ber Leibovitz, and a Mir disciple in Europe and Shanghai. Son in law of Rabbi Shmulevitch and head of Yeshivat Mir in Jerusalem.
Rabbi Aharon Zelig Epstein (1912-2009), disciple of Mir Yeshivah in Europe and a close disciple of the Mashgiach Rabbi Yerucham Leibovtiz. Son in law of the granddaughter of Rabbi Shimon Shkapp. A leading scholar in America, head of yeshivat Sha'ar Ha'Torah – Grodno (Queens).
