An impressive lithograph poster, designed by the painter Yohanan Simon, reflecting the period's Socialist-Realist style. The poster portrays a pair of muscled arms raising the Israeli flag to the top of the pole (also in blue and white), next to which appears a sentence from the Declaration of Independence: "it is the natural right of the Jewish people to be like all other nations in their own sovereign state."
67X100 cm. Good condition. Folding marks and creases. Slight tears to margins and to fold lines. Some stains. Stamp on verso.
