Edut BeYoehosef, responsa in Halacha, parts 1-2, by Rabbi Yosef Almosnino. Constantinople [1711-1733]. Two volumes. First editions.
Rabbi Yosef Almosnino (1637-1688, Otzar Harabbanim 8143). Genius and Av Beit Din of Belgrade, was captured by the Austrian army and died in captivity.
Volume 1: 116, [2] leaves. 30 cm. Good condition. Stains. Few moth stains. Magnificent wood and leather binding, damaged. Signatures and ownership notations from the year1776 and 1943. Stamps.
Volume 2: [2], 118 leaves. Fair condition. 30 cm. Stains, restored moth damage. Non original binding. Oriental signatures.
