Documents archive of Att. Joseph Yosifov, concerning Aliya of Bulgarian Jews to Eretz Israel. 1940-1944. Hebrew and Bulgarian.
Joseph Yosifov, attorney, native of Sofia (Bulgaria). Participated in the foundation of Beitar movement in Bulgaria and served as commissioner for Aliya matters. In Paris held the position of secretary of the Revisionist Students Association. Continued his Revisionist Zionist activity in Bulgaria. Participated as a delegate in Histadrut Zionit Hadasha (New Zionist Organization - NZO) conventions in Vienna, Prague and Basel, chairman of the Supreme Court and later chairman of NZO center in Bulgaria. Made Aliya to Eretz Israel in 1940. Continued his activity as member of NZO center and member of NZO Supreme Court and later of World Revisionist Zionism Organization.

The documents imply how complicated it was to obtain certificates for Aliya and they reflect the inner conflicts between Revisionists and Mapai members at that time; includes letters to and from Josef Klarman, chairman of the High Commission of NZO and member of Relief Committee for European Jews. *About 30 documents concerning Kupat Holim LeOvdim Leumi'yim, and internal matters of NZO.
