Divrei Chaim, written by a student… to explain the words of the Poskim, Volumes 1-2, Laws of Shemot Gittin and Mikva'ot. Zholkiev 1864.
In the introduction the author writes “my name has not been written for known reasoning”. This is the 1st book of the Divrei Chaim printed. (his responsa were printed 11 years later in 1875).
In the 2nd edition (Munkacz 1892), Rabbi Baruch of Gorlice son of the Divrei Chaim writes that he was the one who printed the 1st edition. He explains that he was reluctant to put his name but the public was already aware of who wrote it so he added the name in the 2nd edition.
Very Rare.
