Yad Kol Bo prayer book – published by Rabbi Petachya son of Rabbi David Lyda, Frankfurt am Main, (1726). Two title pages, one illustrated. Various inscriptions and glosses. Interesting ownership inscription on first title page: “… belongs to
Michel Geiger”. [Rabbi Michel Geiger, cantor in Frankfurt am Main in 1818, his son, Rabbi Zalman published the book "Divrei Kohelet", based upon the customs of his father and rabbis]. Ancient handwritten signature on leaf 3: “Yechiel Michel Oppenheim” [apparently refers to the Ga’on Rabbi Yechiel Michel Oppenheim, Av Beit Din of Friedburg since 1708, son-in-law of the great and famous Torah genius Rabbi David Oppenheim. Passed away in 1750. See Otzar HaRabbanim 9428].

Amsterdam, his son Rabbi Petachya and his son-in-law Rabbi Moshe Mirelsh. [2], 94, 59, 4, [2], 5-74, 34, 54, 40 leaves. 32 cm. Fair condition, wear, stains and moth damage. Tears on first title page and on additional leaves. Restorations of old paper. Original, luxurious and damaged leather coated wooden binding, with clasp remnants.
