A German monthly for art and literature, published during World War I. The journal's revenues were donated to the Red Cross.
Among the writers: Gerhard Hauptmann, Hermann Hesse, Lotte von Mendelssohn Bartholdi, Arthur Silbergleit and Jakob Wasermann.
Among the artists whose works appear in the journal are Erich Büttner, Lyonel Feininger, Max Liebermann, Emil Orlik and Hermann Struck.
Five bound volumes, 33 cm. Good condition. Worming to margins of several of the second and third year issues. Damage to bindings.
