Mishnayot, sections 1-2, proofread and vowelized. With explanation of all foreign words in alphabetical order (by Rabbi Menashe ben Yisrael). Amsterdam, (1646). Yosef ben Yisrael Press "in the home of his father, Rabbi Menashe ben Yisrael".
"Contains all versions as well as numerous glosses which were collected from the book Ba'al Tosfot Yom Tov. The book was proofread by the holy Rabbi Shlomo Adani".
In this edition Rabbi Menashe ben Yisrael began printing the Mishnayot with vowelization. The work was done by him and by Rabbi Avraham Di Leon [following another vowelized edition which was printed in Constantinople during 1644-1645].
Section 1: Zera'im, Zemanim, Nashim. [2], 113 leaves; Section 2: Nezikin, Kodshim, Taharot. [1], 115-160, 162-275 leaves. Approx. 15.5 cm. Good condition, few stains. Both sections bound together in new semi-leather binding.
