VaYakhel Moshe, matters of "true Kabbalah from the wisdom of the Arizal" and teachings of the Zohar, by Rabbi Moshe ben Menachem (Graff) of Prague. Dessau: Moses Dessau ben R. Simcha Bunim, [1698].
First edition, with approbations from leading rabbis of the generation Rabbi David Oppenheim, Rabbi Samson Wertheimer of Vienna and others. Kabbalistic illustrations. At the end of the essay "Adam D'Atzilut", an illustrated plate of the "Holy Elder" tree with "13 Tikunei Dikna... D'Mehemnuta" is printed.

On the title page also appears an ownership stamp of the Gaon R. Shaul Brach of Nitra, rabbi of the Yere'im community of Košice.


R. Shaul Brach (1865-1940) was a disciple of the Chatam Sofer and a leading rabbi in his times. He was appointed Rabbi of Magendorf (Veľký Meder) in 1892, and served as Rabbi of Carei between 1910-1923, until his appointment as Rabbi of Košice. Throughout his years in the rabbinate he headed a large yeshiva, and his disciples included many Hungarian rabbis.


[4], 5-14 leaves (mispagination to leaves 30-32). 19 cm. Good-fair condition. Many stains, wear and tears, including open tears, to margins. Some worming, slightly affecting text. Old leather binding, worn, without the spine.
