A special issue for the anniversary of the appearance of the journal "Unzer Vort", the journal of the Poalei Zion – Hitachdut" party for She'erit Hapletah in France. The issue contains articles about the institutions of the Zionist movement and the struggle of the Yishuv in Palestine; articles in memory of Jewish personalities, including Hanna Senesh, S. An-Ski, Stephan Zweig, Leonid Pasternak, and others; articles about the fate of She'erit Hapletah and information about the activity of various aid organizations in Europe; stories and poems describing life in the ghettos and concentration camps during the Holocaust; and illustrations, photographs and advertisements.
The journal "Unzer Vort" started appearing officially in October 1944, several weeks after the liberation of France from the Nazis (earlier, it was distributed by the Jewish underground movement). Its chief editor was the writer and translator Yisrael Fink (1894-1955).
