Two booklets issued by the "Cultural Service" of the IDF before Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah. [Tel-Aviv], 1949.
Two booklets (mimeographed typescript) with detailed instructions for conducting Rosh Hashanah and Hanukkah ceremonies in the IDF. Some of the texts in the booklet refer to the battles of the War of Independence and the establishment of the State.
1. "Rosh Hashana 5710". Av 1959.
[1], 6, [1] leaves (including cover), stapled, approx. 21X6 cm. Good condition. Stains (mostly on the front cover). Creases and small tears to margins. The front cover is detached and the back cover is loose (the cover is smaller than the other leaves of the booklet). Stamp on the front cover.

2. "Hanukkah, Ceremony of Lighting the First Candle" (Hebrew). Cheshvan 1949. On the front cover, an illustration of a Hanukkah lamp with the first candle and the Shamash burning.
[1], 7 leaves (including cover). Creases and small tears to margins. Open tear to back cover (restored with paper). Penned notations on both sides of the cover. Stamp on the back cover.
