Pair of small Rimonim [Torah finials] for Torah Scroll. Greece or Rhodes, early 20th century.
Silver (unstamped), engraved with vegetation patterns. Six chains hanging from each Rimon with closed bells hanging from them.
Engraved inscription on posts: "Dedicated to the Almighty, these Rimonim were dedicated by Yosef Yisrael in the year 1935"; "these Rimonim were dedicated by Soltana wife of Yosef Yisrael in the year 1935" [The Yisrael family was a well-known rabbinic family in Rhodes and other places].
Height: 18 cm. Diameter: 4.5 cm. Two Rimonim not original, missing two chains with bells, several bells broken.
