Long letter, responsum on a Talmudical treatise, handwritten and signed by Rabbi Moshe Feinstein. New York, Sivan 1948.
Most of the letter was printed in the Igrot Moshe responsa, Part Orach Chaim, Siman 137 and Part Yoreh Deah, Siman 141. The brief comments at the beginning and at the end of the letter have evidently not been printed.
Rabbi Moshe Feinstein (1895-1986), the greatest halachic authority in the US and leader of Charedi Jewry and head of Mo'etzet Gedolei HaTorah. Head of Tiferet Yerushalayim Yeshiva in New York. Authored: the Igrot Moshe responsa, the Dibrot Moshe novellae on the Talmud, and Darash Moshe on the Torah.
