Three plaques with portraits of German Jewish personalities, 1909-1913.
1. Plaque in honor of the 70th birthday of the German chemist Georg Lunge (1839-1923). Obverse: relief portrait of Lunge with his name. Reverse: relief of Lunge working in his laboratory, with the German dedication – "In honor of his 70th birthday, 15 September 1909". Both sides are signed "Hans Frei". 70X52 mm.
2. Plaque in honor of the German doctor Ludwig Lichtheim (1845-1928), presumably for his 60th birthday. Obverse: relief portrait of Lichtheim, his name and a further inscription. Reverse: flowering branch with a ribbon. Signed "C. Garre, 1905". Approx. 104X72 mm. Corroded.
3. Plaque in honor of the German ophthalmologist Julius Hirschberg (1843-1925). Obverse: Relief portrait of Hirschberg with the Latin dedication "Julio Hirschberg / Amici Collegae Discipuli". Signed -"E.H. 1913". Reverse: allegorical relief, signed "E. Herter… 1913". 80X60 mm.
