1-2. Two silver coins. Obverse: Emblem of the State of Israel, denomination: twenty five Israeli Lira, and the year - 1974. Reverse: Portrait of David Ben Gurion and the words "David Ben Gurion" in Hebrew and in Latin characters. Diameter: 36 mm. Weight: 26 gr.
3. Gold coin. Obverse: Emblem of the State of Israel, denomination: five hundred Israeli Lira, and the year – 1974. Reverse: Portrait of Ben Gurion and the words "David Ben Gurion" in Hebrew and in Latin characters. Diameter: 35 mm. Weight: 28 gr.
The portrait of David Ben Gurion on the coins was designed by Andre Laser (after a photograph by Alfred Bernheim). The letters and the face of the coin were designed by Zvi Narkis.
The three coins are housed in the original leather-like pouch (with the Emblem of Israel embossed on). The case is housed in a cardboard case partly covered with velvet.
